Worldwide distribution of xXx number 3 has been picked up by Paramount. Vin Diesel must not have much to do these days as he is producing and starring this latest (Ice Cube free) reboot.
It seems like Mr Diesel is fast (and furious) cornering the macho action movie franchise scene. He has D.J. Caruso on board as director and the script comes from Chad St. John whose previous action credits include London Has Fallen
The xXx movies have taken in $350 million worldwide, and the Riddick franchise was worth $267 million. This is small potatoes compared to Fast and scriptless series of movies which so far have earner Vin and the studios $3.5 billion.
